B chiropractic is registered with all the leading health insurance companies.
What qualifications does B Chiropractic have?
Ben has both a Bachelor of Science (Nutrition) and a Master of Chiropractic degree.
How long will it take to get better?
Prognosis will depend on the individual case and presentation. Most clients will have good symptomatic response over the first few weeks if these symptoms are uncomplicated, recent and biomechanical in nature. More time may be necessary for severe traumatic injuries, intervertebral disc problems with nerve compression, or if complicating factors are present.
Do chiropractic consultations hurt?
Generally a chiropractic adjustment does not cause any pain. You may experience some discomfort or pressure in certain joints of the spine and extremities, but after the adjustment is performed you should not feel pain. Since the adjustment restores motion to previously restricted areas, tissues around the spine can be stretched and this can result in slight soreness as a result of getting the segment to move.
What are the benefits of chiropractic care?
Spinal adjustments can restore joint mobility and reduce stiffness. They can improve joint stability, relieve pain, decrease unbalanced muscle tension, reduce inflammation and improve the integrity of your nervous system to truly improve your health and well-being.
Who should see B Chiropractic?
Anyone can see a chiropractor. Newborns, teenagers, adults, the elderly, students, office workers, motor vehicle accident victims, pregnant women and sportspeople can all benefit from chiropractic care.
How often do I need to see B Chiropractic?
The frequency of your care will be determined on each individual case and nature of the problem. For some it may require more frequent visits initially which are then decreased as you respond. Some may have chronic recurring problems that require periodic care. Each case will be assessed individually and provided with an appropriate prognosis.
What does a typical consultation involve?
A thorough health history check will be taken followed by a chiropractic examination including any necessary orthopaedic and neurological testing. A functional assessment will also be performed. Treatment then includes a thirty minute consultation consisting of a thorough manual massage and trigger point release of the involved areas, chiropractic adjustment, and appropriate muscle re-education exercises.
